A: I would not do a flush unless you are having sludge issues and even then the best is a tear down and clean.
The oil today is very good, just make sure you get the proper weight, probably for that motor is 10W30 if I remember right.

I would like advice on how to adjust the suspension in my 1998 Toyota supra RZ there is a special gas shock in each side of the car and I would like to know out how to raise the suspension in height as my car is a bit to low.
A: The shocks on that car have nothing to do with the ride height. If it’s too low, you’ll need to replace the springs.
Some trucks and vans have “load leveling” shocks that do affect the ride height, but you won’t generally see them on a car. Normal shocks control the movement of the suspension, but don’t bear any load, and as such, do not affect ride height.

I’ve got a 1982 Toyota Supra with over 330,000 miles on it. I don’t know all that much about cars and almost nothing about motor oil (other than how to change it). I’ve been using 10W-30 in the car but I’m starting to think I should use something else. If I don’t want to pay 4 bucks a quart, what weight/type of oil should I be using?
A: I suggest go to Wal mart and get the high milage oil and go with 10w40 if it’s hot where you are if it’s cold in winter then go with 10w30.
