I have a 2006 Honda Civic Ex which is stock right now. I’m having a hard time looking at the stock stuff that can be changed out. I need to know when are they going to come out with parts.

A: look for the clock button on the radio and push it with the car on but the radio off u should hear a beep after like 30 seconds…if u dont hear the beep keep holding the clock button down and mash the h and m buttons and the time will change…i cant remember if that one beeps or not done to many different ones at theis point in time with the time change and all…good luck

They are broken, hence replacing them. I haven’t taken them off – a friend will be doing the work for me. I just need to buy parts. So far I’ve been told that I have 2, 3, and 4 motor mounts.

Q: What color does the maintenance light of a 1998 Honda Civic turns when it needs maintenance?
I have a 1998 Honda Civic LX and i have this little square on the cluster and its the stock cluster and underneath it is says “maintenance required” and it used to be black in color, but now its kind of red. I am just wondering if anyone would know if thats the maintenance required light in a 98 Honda Civic LX?
A: You are correct – when it’s red, the light is “on” meaning that the OBD code reader needs to be hooked up (done for free at some auto parts stores) and the codes viewed to indicate the repairs needed

Q: Can My 2000 Honda Civic make it over the mountains from Northern California to Salem Oregon?
I have a four-cylinder honda Civic coupe DX w/ AT and I was wondering if it would be okay to drive it from Redding Ca up to Salem Oregon on I-5 over the Siskiyou mountains. My boyfriend has a GMC Canyon, but i wanted to try and take my car to save gas. I know it will be fine once i make it over the Siskiyous, but I wanted your opinion on if you think it would be a good idea. My car is in good shape and only has 65,000 miles on it. Also if you have any tips for me as far as changing gears and such please share. Thanks!
A: The other answers were general in nature with some good driving tips. My answer is very specific to traveling in southern Oregon.
1. Plan to drive early in the day. Avoid the heat by getting over the mountains before noon. You are leaving from Redding, so hit the road no later than 6 a.m. You’ll clear the Siskiyous by 9 a.m. and the other mountain passes — Sexton, Stage, Smith and Canyon — by noon.
2. Take along a cell phone. Dial 411 for road conditions. The Siskiyous can shut down temporarily due to a major crash.
3. Fuel up in Yreka (before crossing the Siskiyous) and again in Grants Pass (before crossing Sexton, Stage Smith and Canyon mountain passes). This gives you a chance to check your car over, take a restroom break, and reload your personal water supply.
4. Carry TWO supplies of water. Two one-gallon milk jugs for your car. And at least a liter for yourself. Good samaritans have placed water along the mountain passes in areas where cars often overheat but don’t expect to find them (summer is a busy traveling season).
5. Finally, don’t overload your car. A Honda Civic can clear these mountains just fine. A Honda Civic loaded to the gills will not. College students are notorious for this. The car is loaded from floor to roof with clothing, books, furniture, skis and so on. The driver can’t even see out the rear-view window. This is dangerous and really increases the odds you’ll have a breakdown on the mountains.

when there was 5 ppl in the car, the tires were scratching the car, had to take some things out to make car less heavy…wen it goes thru a bump or something like that u can here a noise from the rear.

Q: What car should I get Scion tc TRD or Honda civic SI?
I am looking at both the 2009 scion tc TRD and The new Honda civic si. I know the civic beats the tc in horse power but after all the TRD upgrades how much horse power does it have? The civic and tc TRD cost about the same. Which car has better reliability and is faster?
A: th TRD parts on the tC dont do much actually, if im not mistaken the only power adder on the TRD tC is th sport muffler, which at best, gets 5whp, which isnt much. but it does have the TRD lowering springs, front strut tie br, and rear roll bar, so it’ll have similar or better handlng then the Si. but id say both cars on on par with eachother considering a race between the tC and Si is a drivers race. fastest 1/4 mile time for the tC has been 15 sec even, which is fast considering the power and heavy weight of the tC. and ive seen Si’s do similar runs. so it depends on what you really want. tC can be turboed easier with its lower compression ratio, Si has a better supercharger option for it. though at the moment the tC has a larger aftermarket side than the Si now, tC has multiple engine builds, turbo kits, clutch/flywheels, twin disc clutches, electronics.. it goes on for the tC. but both are nice cars and if i coule i would own both, tC for turboing and Si for all motor performance. so its your prefrence. tC has higher reliability right now since the Si has tranmission pop, which messes up your transmission, though this is if you are running it hard, there is a fix for it but it cost money. Scion is rated number 1 reliability and best made car by Comsumer Report and Associated Press.

I need a new or used drivers side sun visor for my 06 civic. I have basically checked every honda parts website and have not found it. I have not tried a dealer (probably too expensive). Has anyone else had a problem with the 06-09 civic visors or how did you get another one?
