Q: What do you think is the better car? Acura NSX (1991-1994) or a Toyota Supra Turbo (1994-1998)?
both STOCK

A: both legendary cars, theres no way anyone could possibly choose stock vs stock. but if both were modified than supra would be for insane acceleration, and the nsx would be a beast on a track. if its for street use you should just test drive both. if i really came down and i was on the spot on choosing one of them i would go for a supra just because they are torque monsters

Q: will Acura NSX calipers fit on a 4th gen Honda prelude?

A: I’ve seen similar caliper swaps on other Hondas and I bet with the right wheels and fabrications it could work. Like all swaps a little fabrication will probably be needed. lines, booster, cylinder etc.

Q: Will any year of an Acura NSX fit into a 96 Acura Integra SE?

A: The problem you are going to have is the size of the engine. It is a 3.2 liter engine and it will be to big for the Integra. As of the drivetrain concerns, with some modifications you can make it work since the NSX is an MR (mid engined and rear drive car). This means that it works like a fwd drive car, it hooks up like fwd cars do. I have an MR2 and it uses Toyota FWD engines in it. And the NSX basically has the 3.2L engine from the Acura TL, the difference is that the NSX engine is DOHC and produces more power while the TL engine is SOHC. So in theory it will work, but a lot of work is needed.

Q: what is faster, a Acura NSX or a Porche 911 Carrera Gt ?

A: difficult question.

If going fast in a straight line the Porche

If going on a track then it may be the NSX

It just depends on what you looking for. I used to have an old camaro with a V8 that could blow the doors of a 911… Even raced one down the freeway once and won quiet handily…. Of course that was in a straight line…. If I was on a track I would have been tasting his dust shortly after the first corner.

YOu also didn’t mention what tuning would be done to the cars… The 911 will have much more horsepower out of the box, and probably if you had unlimited tuning of both… but the NSX would be easier to drive and would behave better on the track. 911 are rear engine and those are a bit quirky compared to a mid engin like the NSX.

Q: can i find a carbon finer dash kit for 1993 acura nsx?

A: Go to http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?Model=NSX&_nkw=carbon%20dash%20acura&_dmpt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&_fln=1&_ipg=&_sop=12&_ssov=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282

Q: whats a good prize for a 2005 ACURA NSX?

A: For a price, it would probably be around $80,000, depending on how many miles you have on it.

Q: New honda NSX, i thought it was acura nsx?
http://carversation.com/2007/12/20/honda-confirms-new-nsx-for-2010/

A: your right…. kind of

the Acura NSX IS a Honda NSX, the ONLY difference is in America, they needed to put a different badge on the car.

label whores in America will not pay 90,000 for a honda, no matter what.

and the person who said “acura is the luxury vesion of honda” thats not exactly true,in some cases the acura version is more luxuroius but thats not the rule, it is just simply more money for a name.

Q: i read on a lot of websites that the new acura nsx is coming in 2011 w/ a v8. Is that true?
Source -http://www.worldcarfans.com/110033025407/hondaacura-nsx-supercar-could-still-be-revived—2011

A: Last I heard it was a 500hp v10z
I disagree about the first being over priced, the $90k (talking msrp not inflated prices dealers were able to get away with) model was the nsx-r which completed the Nurburgring road course in the same time as one of ferraris track cars… Which costs how much more? The nsx is known as the “poor mans Ferrari” for a reason

Q: what kind of motors would do good in my nsx?
i dont know what kind of racing motor i can put in my acura nsx any ideas?

A: well leave the car alone

Q: Can somebody give me an estimate for a 1991 Acura NSX Limited Edition Hardtop It has about 21000 miles on it.?
I am 100% sure that it only has 21000 miles.

A: 6 digit odometer so miles should be correct – as long as the condition supports the mileage. There is no value adjustment in Kelly Blue Book for the Limited Edition Hard Top. Book is 21,400/28,600 wholesale/retail. Those figures include a 2,700 add for the low miles already. 100 more if it has leather. If this vehicle is in MINT condition – there will be collector value associated with it. Only if it’s in MINT condition, it would be worth $35k or more. It it is just excellent condition, figure $28k -$30k If only average condition – I wouldn’t buy it for any more than $20k All those values assume the vehicle is all ORIGINAL. If the radio has been hacked up and the vehicle has been modified – use your own judgement and start from the $28k figure and go down.
Great car though, if it’s really nice, the value should only go up. If you are going to use it as a daily driver, don’t buy a mint condition one.

Q: What happened to the Acura NSX?

A: It was discontinued due to poor market performance and the cost of producing the car. The NSX’s chassi and the body style is comparable of the corvette. However the pricing on it was out of budget and during it’s production times, people bought American cars than Japanese cars, unlike today.

Q: Does anyone know where I can learn about Acura NSX’s? ?
Like a book or something where I can learn everything? I’m looking into purchasing one but I want to learn all the technical details and such.

A: You’ll find most of what you’re looking for at http://www.nsxca.org/nsxca/index.html

Q: Why does the Acura NSX cost so much money?
The most I saw one was a 2005 for $79,000 & cheapest was somewhere around 20,000 for a 1991. The NSX doesn’t even crack 300HP(290), don’t get me wrong I love the NSX & was looking to buy one but I don’t have the money to spend on one between 2000-2005 & I don’t want a car older than the 2000’s, is there something about the NSX that makes it worth all that money even after all these years?

A: Because it is available in limited quantities.
Principles of supply and demand.

I always thought the NSX was extremely overrated.

Q: The Acura NSX, first time car?
Whats your view point?

If you’d recommend something else, go for it.
I have all the time in the world to research.
Yea im younger, 16. Girl.

if that helps?

A: if you’re 16, then forget about the nsx. Way to rare to find and too expensive to maintain. Plus, its just not all that practical for a young driver. Plus if you do find one, you won’t have it long because I’ll have to steal it :)

I would suggest a more common car for your first one. My first was/is an Acura Integra. Best FWD car ever made.

Q: Opinions of the 2005 Acura NSX ?
I heard there maybe one released in 08…
I live in the San Franscico Bay area. It seems to be a rare car here. I love the looks of it though ! And being an Acura, it should last well over 100k miles…

A: It is a nice fast, luxury car.
It goes from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 165mph. That is the exact same specs of the 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
It has a 290HP V6 engine. It is a very reliable car becase it is made by Acura.
